Lickey and Blackwell - Shopping around Birmingham

Took my old road bike in for a much needed overhaul and service alongside my son's BMX which needed some minor repairs and a service. I found the whole experience to be exceptional. Clearly a shop run by cycling enthusiasts with a wealth of knowledge and great customer service values. Turn around time for both was a day and a bit. the bit being down to me fitting in a suitable time to collect. Replacement parts were competitively priced and good quality considering what I needed for both bikes I was more than happy with the costs. Having had time to take my old bike out for a ride, it felt like it was brand new again. Not bad for a bike I've been using for 22 years. I can't recommend these guys enough so if you're looking for a local shop with great service Northfield Cycles are well worth a visit.

Great bunch of lads. I limped in with a loose crank arm, they fitted me a new one on the spot, didn't charge me for fitting and parts was as cheap as chips. Thanks lads for getting me home. I will visit again just to say hello.

Absolutely brilliant, friendly service by both lads and young lady on reception. Fixed brake and gear issues within a couple of hours at a very low price. Highly recommended and will be my bike fixers and maintainers from now on. Bye bye Halfords! Patrick Mitchell.
