We really like this place. Nicely decorated interior. Staff are personable and welcoming. We can't comment on the wine list as we were drinking coke. The food was excellent. We had seafood dishes and will definitely be returning to try other things on the menu. I had prawn puri for starter and it was the best one I've had. The sauce was delicious and rich.

Went this evening with my partner and will definately be returning! The service was outstanding, the restaurant itself is clean and very well kept and the decor in general is lovely and the food was absolutely phenomenal! The presentation was excellent for both starters and mains and the quality and portion sizes make it worth every penny! Wait times weren't very long either which was a bonus. Has absolutely blown every other Indian I've eaten out of the water! Thank you so much for a lovely evening! Amelia and Dave.

Always order our weekend treat from here and the guys are so friendly. We got chatting about food and their lovely front of house guy gave us a complimentary veggie balti to try. It was so tasty, the selection of veg coupled with the fresh coriander made for an outstanding dish and we will definitely be adding it to the list of out favourite curries from Golden Balti. Thanks guys, a perfect Saturday night treat yet again xx

Not long moved to the area . Became a regular straight away . Foods bang on and I’ve had a warm welcome every time I’ve been in the shop . Definitely deserves its 5 starts . Top place

Booked the whole upper floor for the evening before my daughter's wedding. All 26 of us enjoyed the food, my balti was tasty and filling. Note, this restaurant isn't licenced, so bring your own.

Wow! When we visit Rubery we have a new go-to curry house. The staff were really friendly and all of the meals were exceptional. Be advised they do not serve alcohol.

Me and my friends go to a different indian restaurant once a month. We split the bill and typically we end up paying around £25 each for a starter a mains with a side or two and some drinks. At Omar Khayam we ended up paying £40 each! The food was nice, but not that nice that it justified us each paying £15 more than any other indian restaurant. So, as I would recommend the place for the food, there are plenty of other restaurants which are equally as good and which are cheaper. Also they have a pretty big fish in what is a tiny fish tank which I strongly disagree with!

Friendly polite staff.The food was really good. The place was clean and tidy. Toilets were very clean. Enjoyed listening to the background music. Not to loud was able to hold a conversation comfortably without having to raise my voice to be heard. All round experience was enjoyable.

Lovely family friendly restaurant, they bent over backwards to accommodate me, my husband and toddler. We all enjoyed the food and my son loved the macaroni cheese boat. Made us feel very welcome and the food was quick and fresh. Love the place and the staff :-)

Good prices, nice beer garden hampered by the constant stream of ambulance sirens from the near by station and a staff made up of a trusted set of fast old hands and a younger group of staff who are inexperienced and slow. The bar seems to be constantly understaffed where waits of 5 to 10 minutes are common while someone polishes a fridge door.

The food was surprisingly nice for the price. The building itself is very nice aswell.

Clean and welcoming little Restaurant. Friendly helpful staff. Tasty food would go again. Lots of people ordering takeaways and quite a few deliveries going on. Two menus to choose from the normal menu and the buffet menu. Food reasonably priced.

Really good Chinese food. Didn't know it was a it as much as you like so was shocked when we sat down. Came up trumps with the yummy food though!

Great little hidden gem in the countryside with a lovely little beer garden. Popped in for a drink with friends and was greeted with a smile. Friendly staff and great food. Service was quick and our server Kiran, couldn’t do more for us. Would thoroughly recommend!

Came her with my husband this evening for dinner. Both staters and mains were absolutely delicious. Too stuffed to try the desserts but will definitely be back as we saw some on a table next to us and they looked amazing! Amy and Hannah were our waitresses and couldn’t do enough for us. A well deserved 5 stars
