The hotel itself is fine, the decoration in the rooms is a bit tired but perfectly OK. I was a bit nervous going in as it had been slated on the reviews but the gym, steam room and parking were all in the price of the room. Just check when you go as ours was a wedding party so may have been part of the package. The breakfast in the morning was a standard hotel breakfast which was refilled when empty and was nice. We had a pizza, chips and onion rings at the bar which was lovely. The beer was reasonably priced.
A bit dated but a good hotel. Breakfast buffet is about average. Warning that there is a parking charge of £10 per day. Leisure facilities and pool also cost extra. Free breakfast, leisure facilities and parking if booking through Groupon.

Amazing food! Wonderful staff can't do enough for you. Bit disappointed in my room, however it was just a place to sleep, I wasn't living there! Would highly recommend.
I have stayed here in the main hotel and the rooms in a different block. The rooms in the main building are much better and more luxurious - this is where you want to be. The separate block is really basic, also the bathroom has automatic lights on/off and is a nuisance as turned off whilst I was in the shower. The breakfast is good and stays fresh and service very pleasant. The receptionists are also very friendly and welcoming.

Probably the best Premier Inn we've stayed at. Staff were really friendly and chatty, and they made a real effort to interact with the kids. It was a really hot day when we arrived and we were offered ice water and freeze pops. They'd left a large fan in the room, and also a treasure hunt for the kids. Once they found “Dinky the duck" they won prizes. Little things which people remember. Also nice that it's next to a small leisure park with cinema, bowling and restaurants to give you choices. Easy access from M5. Highly recommended.
The hotel was nice, and the staff were all polite, but the lack of air conditioning made it 30°C in our room. This made it very difficult to sleep

Friendly, well presented staff. The meal I had unfortunately wasn't quite up to scratch as the vegetables were under cooked which made up a high proportion of the dish. The chef agreed to take the drinks off the bill as a good will gesture. I would definitely like to return to sample another dish. The architecture and grounds were splendid. The internal decor has an upmarket feel to it, even classy. The meals seemed a little on the more expensive side but on the whole in keeping with a fantastic day out. Thank you
Myself and my wife dined here on Wednesday night. If I could rate this place 6 stars I would. My wife had the Red Snapper special and I had the fillet steak special. Huge compliments to the chef our meals were cooked to perfection and the horseradish dressed salad with my steak was to die for. We were served by the manager (Luke). This guy knows his stuff, he recommended both these dishes and a beautiful bottle of white. My wife really struggles with eating out due to her disability and Luke went the extra mile to make her feel comfortable. Even helping me take her out to the car. Thank you Luke and the Barnt Green Inn staff we will see you again soon.

Went for Sunday lunch today. Bar service was excellent. Nice choice of food. Only disappointment was we had not finished eatingour starter and the waiter asked us.." have you finished because your main is ready. " we ended up leaving the remains of our starter as he bought our mains out. Food was like warm. Nice food just not hot enough and only a small gravy boat. Would return but won't have starters.
Nice to see a lovely old pub thriving. Car park, outdoor seating, great local beers, friendly atmosphere and leafy street for shade. I enjoyed my time here.

Good prices, nice beer garden hampered by the constant stream of ambulance sirens from the near by station and a staff made up of a trusted set of fast old hands and a younger group of staff who are inexperienced and slow. The bar seems to be constantly understaffed where waits of 5 to 10 minutes are common while someone polishes a fridge door.
The food was surprisingly nice for the price. The building itself is very nice aswell.
